Justin and I recently moved again, and are officially all settled into our new home. We love our new apartment! It’s nice and cozy. We plan on staying here for another couple months before the fishing season starts. Justin is extremely excited for the fly fishing to pick up again. With the absence of snow so far this winter Justin has been taking clients out on the river and getting them into fish! I can’t believe how many trips he’s already had this winter. It’s great!
He also has his whole heart in the the Real Estate market. He’s great with meeting new people and becoming instant friends with them. Clients love working with him to find and purchase their home. As for me, I start student teaching this Spring Semester. It’s officially my last semester before I graduate from Utah State University! Yay!!! I am so excited. I am also very excited to start my student teaching. I have wonderful cooperating teachers that I get to work with, and I am so grateful to be able to learn from them. The classes i’ll be teaching are Food & Nutrition I, Foods & Nutrition II, Adult Roles & Responsibilities, Clothing I, and Fashion Strategies. My first day is Tuesday. Wish me luck!

It’s officially the COLD SEASON. Especially after today… That was some freezing weather. I hate to say it, but it’s time to pull out the winter clothes. I found some really cute scarves for the fall season. I also came across this YouTube video today. 25 Ways to Wear a Scarf. It’s cool check it out. I am excited to try some of these out!
This is effective and easy! If you have stainless steel cookware you probably already know that they stain pretty easy and are really hard to clean. Well after doing a little experimenting last night my husband and I found the solution that really works!

Choosing your wedding cake can be very difficult. You want to find something that will tie into your wedding theme as well as taste good. One of my biggest concerns for finding a wedding cake vendor was having a good tasting cake. I don’t know about you, but i’ve been to a fair amount of weddings were the wedding cake was ughh gross! The fondant is nasty and the cake is dry. I can’t imagine anything more pathetic on your wedding day that having a gross cake.
Should I serve wedding cake at my wedding reception? I suggest yes. You already are paying a lot of money to have the wedding cake made so might as well let your guests enjoy it.
Is it possible to have good tasting fondant on your wedding cake? Yes. My wedding cake was so delicious. Everyone loved it! We had so many compliments on how yummy it was.
So how do you find a good cake vendor? I tried using good reviews. It helped some what, but for Utah their weren’t very many reviews for wedding cake vendors. Perhaps you will have better luck.
*One of the best tips I can give you when looking for a wedding cake vendor is to have a taste test. The vendors will let you sample their cake flavors as well as the fondant or frosting. Take advantage of this opportunity. You will be able to know if they make good tasting cakes.

One of our favorite amenities of living in Park City is our Pool. Last week Justin and I had some visitors (mom, sisters, & olivia)! We spent the whole day chillin’ out by the pool getting a tan. We even had homemade snow cones! Alex pulled us all around the pool with a rope tied to a life guard floaty.. I am pretty sure she has bigger muscles than me. I wish I could have gotten video of it. It was pretty funny.
